Blogging has many potential uses in libraries. Library blogs for librarians can be used to discuss a wide variety of LIS topics and are a good way to stay current. It also provides an opportunity to learn of the views and approaches of other library professionals.
Library blogs (accessed from the library site’s home page) can be used to disseminate information about the library system to the community, such as events, new acquisitions, services, etc. It’s also a good place to hear patron views and determine community needs.
